Out of the three task done this day "Setting the Scene" was my favourite and as a result had the best results. I spent more time on this project and produced a large range of drawings of a simple, plain and boring mug. However by drawing the object again and again it becomes detached from its connections with reality. This gives us an opportunity to observe the geometric shapes of the object.
This use of repetition could be a creative source of ideas for future projects. To make it more interesting I would add colour too the pen drawings. Using tracing paper or working with digital layers could also be worth exploring.
