All three of the tasks for Monday were good at loosening up at producing fast sketches. This help throughout the day to increase the production and quality of the sketches. For me it is important to remember that we are just sketching, and not to get to tied down with the finished quality.
There was a range of skills shown in the finished project from day 1. I think my drawings of my hands are interesting and show strange lines and shapes. They were drawn without looking at the paper and using both left and right hands. The drawing I did took very little time and it could be interesting to explore longer draw times or doing several repetitions of the same drawing.
Cropping the image produces interesting results and creates even more interesting images. This could be a useful technique when drawing a large scene like a city scape, then selecting small sections.
