Now that I have an island that will collect and store "Resources" I need to devise events that will use the resources. The main event is the creation of the network, the connecting of the islands. This is done using boats that travel between the islands.
The simplest of these events is when an island has enough resources to travel to an adjacent island.
To simplify this we will use 1 resource as the cost to travel 1 pixel on screen. If an island has enough resources to travel to another island it will begin this journey. The main intention here is exploration, creating trade routes.
