For this project I am looking at abstracting mechanical movements and sounds from the ambient noises we hear everyday. I am interesting in creating simple models with complex movements. Useing wireframes and very limited colour will put all of the emphasis on the movements.
Here are some examples of me experiments in maya.
The current models have been quickly made as an example to see the movement. I have a problem with the lack of precession and accuracy in how they are linked with the joints. Knowing that it could be very time consuming with little reward I am looking for an alternative to creating models to perfectly line up with the joints.
